Each product has a corresponding net weight and gross weight. Delivery rates are determined by the value of your order, the delivery method selected at checkout, and the destination zone.

To preserve the quality of our chocolates and ensure they remain in perfect condition during transit, our delivery methods may be temporarily adjusted based on weather conditions, particularly during periods of high heat. The available delivery methods and applicable rates are displayed when you place your order.

From April 1st to October 31st, all deliveries are made via the Chronopost Fresh service. This carrier guarantees that your products remain fresh from the moment the package is collected from our workshop until it is delivered to your home.

To view delivery rates based on the size of your order, a sample rate chart is provided below:

1. Metropolitan France (excluding Corsica):

Special case for departments 2A & 2B (Corsica): free shipping on orders over €70.00 applies, with the exception of the carrier's air transport surcharge of €24.60 (incl. tax).

Orders are delivered by the carrier Chronopost (DPD Group) for mainland France. Online orders are prepared and shipped within the week following payment acceptance by the credit card processing center.

Delivery times are as follows:

Metropolitan France: 24 to 48 hours for home delivery, starting from the time the carrier collects the parcel (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Orders placed on the website between Thursday afternoon (12:00 PM French time) and Monday morning will be shipped starting Monday afternoon, for delivery within the timeframes announced by the carrier, Chronopost.

These timeframes are estimates only. No compensation may be claimed in the event of a delivery delay. Under no circumstances shall we be held liable for any damage to the products if the package was opened during transit, nor in the event that the recipient is absent at the time of delivery. In the event that delivery cannot be completed due to customs issues, strikes, damage, or any other cause of *force majeure* attributable to the carrier. The products will be replaced or refunded.

As Easter and Christmas approach, the average delivery time is 3 to 5 days from the moment the carrier collects the parcel for home delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Please note that during spring, summer, or periods of extreme weather conditions, all shipments outside Metropolitan France are suspended; only in-store pickup will be available. This period runs from April 1st to October 31st each year, as our goal is to ensure you enjoy the best possible chocolate tasting experience.

Delivery times are as follows: **Europe:** An average of 2 to 3 business days from the time the carrier collects the parcel for home delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays. **Overseas Departments & Territories:** An average of 4 to 6 business days from the time the carrier collects the parcel for home delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays. Other international countries: Average delivery time of 4 to 6 business days for home delivery, starting from the moment the carrier collects the parcel (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country zone and the weight of the parcel. These rates are reviewed and regularly updated based on the requirements of the carrier, Chronopost (DPD Group).

Customers of the website www.choco-france.com are offered an order pickup service at Beussent Lachelle stores.

When confirming their order, the customer selects their pickup store as well as their preferred day and time.

A one-day lead time is required between payment and pickup to ensure your order is prepared with the utmost care. On the day of pickup, simply present your ID to the sales associate to collect your order.

Please note that the pickup timeframe may be extended depending on in-store product availability; should any items be out of stock, we will contact you directly to confirm your pickup date.
